Menabrea 1846

Product Description
| Menabrea 1846 is a premium strength lager beer at 4.8%ABV. Addititve
free, it is the only Italian lager still brewed using a completely
natural "slow fermentation" process, that makes use of spring water
from the Alps and ingredients from the Czech Republic, Germany and
France. Unlike mass produced beer, no water is later added to standardise
the alcohol content. The results are a testament to eight generations
of brewing expertise by the Menabrea family - a full bodied beer
with a light colour and optimum flavour |
The Menabrea Brewery

| The historic Menabrea brewery, which is the oldest in Italy, was
built in 1846 in the town of Biella at the foot of the Italian Alps.
Still run by the founding family, it is now the country's own fully
Italian owned brewery. Menabrea 1846 is still brewed in the original
building, which boasts an extensive network of underground cellars
where the beer is fermented and aged. |
